Michael serves as Director of Equipment and Procurement at SPRK Lighting, bringing nearly three decades of hardware expertise, inventory strategy, and technical consulting to the team.
Michael’s career is built on deep product familiarity, equipment sourcing, and long-term industry trust. Over 25 years with leading theatrical suppliers and production houses, including Stage Equipment and Lighting, Pro Sound, and Solotech, he led sales, purchasing, and product evaluation for major theatrical projects and live events. His versatile background spans touring lighting technician work with the World Wrestling Federation, technical direction for the SAK Comedy Lab and Orlando Theatre Project, and teaching theatre technology at Valencia Community College.
Holding a Master of Arts from the University of Buffalo, Michael combines technical discipline with a collaborative mindset rooted in improvisational theatre, where he actively performs and manages show tech. At SPRK, he leads equipment procurement strategies, resolves supply chain challenges, and makes sure our design team and clients get the exact hardware required to bring complex attractions to life on budget and on schedule.
