SPRK is proud to announce the successful completion of the

design and installation of MINILAND at the all-new LEGOLAND Resort in

Shanghai, China!

MINILAND, the heart of every LEGOLAND park, features detailed LEGO recreations of iconic cities and landmarks—this time showcasing some of China’s most beloved sites brought to life in miniature brick-built form. SPRK created a dynamic lighting environment that enhances the storytelling, scale, and magic of these intricate models - including both day and night cycles that guest experience as they walk through the installation.

SPRK worked in tandem with Merlin’s creative leads and LEGO’s visionaries to develop a lighting package and show that brings each brick to life in a way that’s immersive, whimsical, and respectful of the cultural icons. While a LEGO bricks may be small, MINILAND stretches roughly the size of a football field.
